VloreNJ.com was created in July in 2003, in
order to better serve the
Albanian-American community of New Jersey.
It has been noted that with a growing
Albanian Community in the area, an
appropriated web site reflecting several
activities of this specific community is
certainly warranted.
Whether our web site brings you closer to
home, reminds you of special occasions you
attended, or brought you into contact with a
long lost friend, we welcome you to enjoy the
little bit of Albania we've created in our web
site. We also invite you to visit our forum ,
where you can discuss topics ranging from
politics and media, to music and news!
The internet has brought us a wide array of
things, both good and bad, but for Albanians,
it has helped us to connect to one another
easily, and that is basically what the main
purpose of this website is.
Why the name VLORENJ?
Simple.... Vlore, for the magnificent city of Vlorë,
Albania, and NJ - where a large Albanian -
American community exists.

Bekim Xhaferi
Bekim Xhaferi was born on October
3rd, 1981, in Hackensack, N.J. USA.
Ever since he was born, he had a
great passion for Albanian Culture,
Music, and Arts. Yes, suprising for
someone who was born and raised in
the USA, however, what really kept
Bekim close to his origins and culture
of his parents was the Music!
Bekim sought to express his passion
for Albanian music by becoming an
Albanian DJ, dj-ing an array of parties
in the New Jersey and New York area.
Known as DJ BeX, his music covers
every corner of Albania, Kosova,
Macedonia, and Montenegro.
Bekim is currently attending school
and training to become a Commercial
Airline Pilot. He is currently undergoing
training at a Flight School in Northern New
Jersey.
